During the holidays, we love making and eating a variety of pancakes. Today, I’m sharing a simple and delicious recipe for Heart-Shaped Crab Stick Pancakes that my family makes every holiday. The adorable heart shape makes it a favorite for kids too!
Ingredients:
Crab sticks (190g)
14 skewer sticks
1/5 green onion
1/5 onion
1/3 carrot
2–3 eggs
A pinch of salt
Cooking oil
Instructions:
Prepare the Crab Sticks: Cut the crab sticks in half lengthwise.
Shape the Hearts: Bend each piece of crab stick into a heart shape and secure it using a skewer stick.
Prepare the Egg Mixture: Finely chop the green onion, onion, and carrot. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add a pinch of salt, and mix well.

Heat the Pan: Add cooking oil to a frying pan and preheat it on medium to low heat.
Cook the Pancakes: Place the heart-shaped crab sticks on the pan. Using a spoon, fill the hollow center of each heart with the egg mixture.
Cook Gently: Allow the bottom to cook thoroughly before flipping the pancakes over. Cook on low heat to prevent burning.
Clean Up the Edges:
If the egg mixture spills out during cooking or flipping, use chopsticks to gently remove the excess for a neat finish.
Use Leftover Eggs:
Any leftover egg mixture can be used to make a quick rolled omelet on the same pan!
